The reimagination of Flavours of Vietnam married the vibrancy of Saigon streets with the essence of modern design. The design set out not just to expand a restaurant, but to craft an immersive experience where every seat in the restaurant hints to Vietnam’s rich culture.

We were approached by the owners of Flavours of Vietnam to create a restaurant for them in a larger space that emphasised authenticity, cultural resonance and functional efficiency. The design was to seamlessly blend traditional Vietnamese elements with contemporary aesthetics, reflecting the rich heritage of the owners and accommodating the increased seating capacity of the new space. The layout was to facilitate smooth traffic flow of both staff and patrons, while also providing functional spaces for the operation of the back-of-house staff. The design was to provide an immersive and memorable Vietnamese dining experience in the heart of Mackay.
