This large family home was built on a small block on the coast line. It was designed to capture the beach-side views from all multi levels within the home to flow together seamlessly. A modern facade was called for with the incorporation of a raised pool. Due to the overall height of the building it was important to create a facade with depth and character. The double height alfresco area and cantilevered elements help soften the facade by providing articulation. The sleeping quarters are located on the upper floor which looks down over the main living areas. With a busy family lifestyle, this allows communication between both levels whist having a feeling of separation.
